In Your Shadow

You are so great and I am small,

No one can see me here.
If I just stand close by Your side
No one will know I’m near.
 
Oh let me hide within your shade,
Lost within the shadows,
That I might pass unnoticed as,
Each new day comes and goes.
 
Sometimes I need a place to hide
Until I’m feeling strong.
Lord, please let me hide here a while,
Before I move along.
