Simple Prayer

I got so busy through the day

With all that work and, yes, some play
That I forgot along the way
To stop, be still and simply pray.
 
So, Lord, I thank You for this day,
For all the fun along the way,
And for the work and, yes, the play.
In Your Son’s name, Lord, this I pray.
