Colossians 2:8

Let me not stand in the ways of man

But in the way of The Word,
For mankind changes every day
And daily grows more absurd.
 
But Christ stands ever unchanging,
And that’s how I want to be.
So when the world looks in my heart,
It’s His heart that they will see.
 
I know that I am not there yet,
Nor do I even drawn near,
Yet, let me stand in shadowed lands
And live The Word without fear.
 
Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.
