While everything around it blooms
It bides its time and waits,But when the season is just right
It never hesitates.
It lives with hope that God’s promise
Will be there every spring
And so it sleeps, while all around,
The birds awake and sing.
For hope is not about today,
But what we’ll someday see.
Both faith and hope require of us,
That we wait patiently
Until the promises of God,
In His time, come to be.
Romans 8:24-25
For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
