When I wake up within the dark,
At first I see no light,But if I sit still long enough,
Slowly I regain sight.
For even in the darkest place,
With time, my eyes can see,
And that pure light, within the dark,
Is what You are to me.
However dark my path may get,
I will not go astray.
For You light up the deepest night
Enough to see the way.
