Though I am tattered from this life,
My time on earth’s been rough,A crown of glory waits for me
And that is Grace enough.
God does not see the tattered soul,
He patched that with His love,
All He sees is the faithful heart
And life’s crown, formed thereof.
James 1:12
Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
