John 9:5

Even when the sun has settled

Into the coming night,

It still shines through the darkened world

Reflected as moonlight.

And you are like the setting sun

Across the endless sea,

For, though you’re not always in view,

Your light reflects in me.

I must, therefore, work harder still

To polish up my heart,

That I may reflect more brightly

The light that you impart.
