The simple satisfaction of
The job that’s been well done;
The quiet little moment when
You finish what’s begun;
The point at which you realize
That you just saw it through
And finished even that small task
That you needed to do.
For sometimes small tasks simply done
Set patterns into place
That we can use when times get tough
To run the bigger race.
Acts 20:24
24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
